ZooBoo!!!

This weekend has been all about deciding whether or not we were going to do the things we had planned.  The unexpected snow/sleet storm yesterday put a damper on our plans to go to a wedding of one of Dave's high school friends, and the cold weather almost canceled our plans to head to the ZooBoooo! event at The Maryland Zoo.  We decided to brave the cold and head out anyways, and we are sure glad that we did!  We had a great time with our friends, Heather and Matt, and their daughter, Eliza.  Dressed in her cutie-pie Minnie Mouse costume, Ellie got her first taste of trick-or-treating, and LOVED all of the animals. Ironically, the skunk (the "unkkk") was her favorite!

Checking out some birds!

She loved the tram that took us into the zoo!

Dancing on stage!

A rare family shot where Ellie is smiling AND looking
at the camera!

You know where there's a coloring station, there'll
also be an Ellie :)

Perfection :)

"No!" This is still our favorite word.  Well, hers at least...

Hay maze!

Such a big girl!

My favorite Minnie Mouse!

Water break!

Fall is in the Air!

There's something about Fall that I love and look forward to every year-the hot apple cider, pumpkin patches and Fall festivals, Halloween...I just love it all!  It all seems to have even more significance again now that I'm a parent.  With Ellie being almost two (hard to believe!), we're really enjoying the season this year!  Not to mention that the fact that October is almost here and gone, and that means we're that much closer to meeting our baby boy and me not being pregnant anymore.  I'm going to go out on a limb and risk being ridiculed by saying I'm not sure which one I'm looking forward to more-meeting Mason or ending the world record for number of consecutive days of puking.  I've got to be up there on the list somewhere!  Anyways, here are some photo reminders of our Fall season so far:

Last weekend, Dave and I went to see Zac Brown-it was a perfect fall evening!

We were 10 rows back-awesome seats!
They were amazing in concert!

Saying hello to the cows at Larriland Farms-I love this place!
It's crazy that we lived about a quarter mile from here
for 4 years and we never went!  My how times have changed!

Ellie checking out the hay maze!

Hayride time!

One of my favorites from the day :)

My little piggy!

She had the best seat in the house!

Ellie loves anything truck, tractor, or machine-such a little girl ;)

Boo-tiful :)

This face just describes Ellie perfectly-silly, saucy, naughty,
sweet-all wrapped up in one cute little girl!

Getting brave in the hay maze!

Clark's Farm @ almost 3 feet tall!

Alice in Wonderland teacups...

Riding the horsie-there was no way she was getting on a real one!

Beautiful Maryland countryside!

Playing!

She was obsessed with the chickens!

Petting the goats!

Eying those chickens again!

Feeding the goats-she loved it!

Riding the Cow Train with Daddy!

Daddy knows what sound a cow makes!

Back To It!

I keep telling myself that I am going to start blogging again, and like many things, it gets pushed to the bottom of my to do list.  I'm annoyed at myself for letting it go for so long because it's such a great keepsake to look back on.  Looking back, I have such a great record of my pregnancy with Ellie, and I don't have that for the first 26 weeks of Mason's pregnancy.  I was just so sick at the beginning.  There was no way it was going to happen!  Anyway, I'm back, and I'm sure that you'll be getting more information that you've ever wanted to know about our family, but oh well :)

This weekend, we celebrated Jonathan turning 4 years old!  It's hard to believe he's 4 already!  His birthday party was at the firehouse, and Ellie LOVED it!  Who knew a little girl would love "driving" a fire truck so much!  She was hooked!
